GREAT BRITAIN
Camden, William, Britannia, 1607. 10.25 x 6.5" (26.5 x 6.2 cm). Uncolored copperplate engraving. $600.
Title page, beautifully engraved by William Hole, one of the earliest English engravers. This 1607 edition of Camden's Britannia was the first to include county maps and was the last edition printed in Latin. Printer's creases at the top and bottom left; margins soiled, but the image clean. A fine, dark impression.
